Bardahl Italy, a leading company in the automotive and motorcycle lubricants and additives sector, has used the professionalism of Shinteck to develop a mobile application for its network of agents. The company’s primary need was in fact to provide its agents with an application that would allow them to always have at their fingertips updated information and all the materials deemed essential in the phase of commercial negotiation.

iBardahl (App Store e Google Play)

iBardahl Store Locator & Catalog is built to allow customers to find the nearest Bardahl dealer to their current location and to view the Car and Motorcycle product catalog with technical information and images.

THE ACTIVITIES

  • Predisposition for offline work (no internet network)

  • Management of product master data with photographic catalogue (CMS)

  • Management of promotional schedules, complimentary items at the end of the order, special conditions of sale, standard price lists

  • Agent and Customer Statistics

  • Management and display of multimedia material (sales documents, company information, e-learning)

  • Integration with company management system for sending orders and order confirmation emails to customers.

iBardahl Manager (iOS Enterprise Distribution)

It was necessary to make available to Maroil Bardahl Italy Agents an Order Entry dedicated to sales with multiple sales methods (Shopping Cart, Promo, Palimpsest, Special Conditions Customer), support for training and corporate documentation.

It ‘was therefore developed a native iOS application for iPad Tablet with high performance during the processing of data offline and subsequent order placement on site via Web Service.

THE TECHNOLOGIES USED

It was decided to use ObjectC dedicated to the iPad platform to prioritize the performance of using the App when processing the multiple sales methods for each product.

The App is able to work as in mini-management operating on the constraints and conditions imposed by the company in a completely offline manner. Guaranteeing the possibility to operate also in warehouses and areas without adequate internet coverage.
